Chinese Electric Vehicle (EV) companies are gradually taking the lead in manufacturing.

According to research by The Motley Fool, five of the top ten manufacturers are from China. In 2024 alone, Build Your Dream (BYD) sold 4,036,538 vehicles, over twice as many as its closest competitor, Tesla, with 1,787,944.

BYD and other Chinese companies primarily sell their vehicles in China due to the heavy tariffs imposed on them in the United States or the European Union.

However, they are spreading their production to other countries. For instance, BYD has opened production plants in Brazil, Cambodia and Hungary. A few months ago, it delivered over 7,000 EVs at the Santa Catarina port in Brazil through a super ship built by the company.

This mass delivery of EVs showcases the company’s dedication and commitment to meet customers’ needs.
