Lagos to Encounter 25-day Power Intermittent Outage

Residents of Lagos will be without power supply for 25 days due to a scheduled maintenance by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).
In separate statements, both Eko Electricity Distribution Company and Ikeja Electric said, “Please be informed that the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) will carry out scheduled maintenance on the Omotosho-Ikeja West 330kV transmission line from Monday, 28th July to Thursday, 21st August, 2025, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.”
Customers will experience intermittent power supply and load shedding during the period, the statement added.
